Service oriented professional who helps clients achieve their financial goals by providing personalized guidance on managing their money, including budgeting, saving, and investing, by assessing their financial situation, risk tolerance, and goals to develop tailored strategies for retirement planning, college savings, debt management, and other financial objectives, while staying compliant with relevant regulations and market trends; essentially acting as a trusted advisor to help clients make informed decisions about their finances.
Key responsibilities of a financial advisor include:
Client consultations:
Meet with clients to understand their financial situation, goals, and risk tolerance through detailed discussions about income, expenses, assets, and debts.
Financial planning:
Develop personalized financial plans based on client needs, including investment strategies, retirement planning, college savings, and estate planning.
Investment advice:
Recommend suitable investment options like stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc. based on market analysis and client goals.
Portfolio management:
Monitor and adjust client portfolios as needed to align with market conditions and financial objectives.
Risk assessment:
Analyze potential risks associated with investments and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Product knowledge:
Stay up-to-date on various financial products like insurance, annuities, and tax-advantaged accounts to provide informed recommendations.
Compliance adherence:
Follow all regulatory requirements regarding client information, investment practices, and reporting.
Client relationship management:
Build strong relationships with clients by providing ongoing support, regular updates, and proactive communication.
Marketing and prospecting:
Identify potential clients and actively seek new business opportunities.
Licenses required: Life Producer / Fixed Indexed Annuities, SIE, Series 6 & 63
Room to advanced opportunities and obtain Series 26 and Mortgage license in your resident state.
Ability to obtain non-resident licenses in multiple states
