Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Lead Generation:
Generate new business by contacting potential clients via leads, networking, and referrals.
Meet with potential clients to present and explain insurance products and services.
Assess the insurance needs of individuals and families and recommend appropriate products (life insurance, supplemental health insurance, etc.).
Customer Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention.
Provide ongoing service to clients by reviewing and updating their policies as necessary.
Sales Presentations:
Deliver effective sales presentations and explain the benefits of different products.
Customize insurance plans based on the specific needs of clients.
Product Knowledge:
Stay up-to-date with insurance industry trends and company product offerings.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of insurance policies and their advantages.
Client Enrollment and Application Processing:
Complete insurance applications and ensure that all necessary documentation is submitted.
Follow up with clients to ensure timely completion of their insurance applications and provide updates.
Compliance:
Adhere to all company policies, ethical standards, and local/state regulations.
Keep accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
Skills and Qualifications:
Sales Experience: Prior experience in sales (insurance sales experience preferred, but not required).
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present and explain insurance policies.
Customer-Oriented: Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Motivated & Self-Driven: The role requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and achieve sales targets.
License Requirements: Must obtain necessary state insurance licenses (Globe Life often provides assistance with licensing).
Goal-Oriented: Ability to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
