Production Operator/Associate

On-site 5767 Thunderbird Road, Indianapolis, IN 46236

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Long-term planning to create initiatives that further the company's overall goals
• Assist in maintaining a cGMP-compliant production environment
• Duties include machine setup and adjustments, mechanical troubleshooting, moving equipment, packaging lines, tablet manufacturing equipment, encapsulation equipment, filling equipment, blending equipment
• Safely operate and monitor all equipment
• Work must be done in compliance with current regulatory guidelines, national, state and local laws, company policies and safety requirements
• Clean and organize work areas
• Accurately complete job-related paperwork and signoffs
• Maintain safe work area
• Assist co-workers and managers in all areas as needed
• Identifying opportunities to expand or shift course in order to take advantage of changes in the market
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:
• High School (Required)
• Quality assurance: 3 years (Required)
• Experience working in food manufacturing or familiarity with FDA and cGMP is a plus
• Detail oriented and ability to thrive in a team environment
• Good reading and math skills with the ability to interpret and follow instructions
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: 2 years (Preferred)
• Previous manufacturing/production/packaging experience
• Ability to work overtime when necessary
• Able to work flexible hours, as needed
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
