Job description
We are looking for a responsible motivated person to join our company. You will be responsible for prepping for the day’s work and traveling to homes and performing installation or maintenance tasks throughout the day. You will also be asked to assist in everyday duties to help our company operate successfully. The ideal candidate would be a long-term career individual looking to learn and grow with us.

Hearth experience is beneficial but not required.

Fireplace Installation or service experience is beneficial but not required.

HVAC Technician / HVAC Installer experience is beneficial but not required.

Garage Door Installer / Technicianexperience is beneficial but not required.

Carpenters or construction experience is beneficial but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities: This role is charged with the following duties and responsibilities

Installation of complete fireplace system for a safe and efficient operation.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of installation codes and technical product information of all fireplace products.
Perform job site previews of fireplace installations as requested.
Clean and maintain the original condition (other than normal wear & tear) of all company tools, equipment, and apparel.
Load work vehicle with necessary products, equipment, and paperwork.
Keep vehicle clean and organized, inside and outside, and inventory weekly.
Responsible to schedule routine maintenance on truck, such as checking the oil, tire pressure, water, etc.
Assist management when requested.
This job also requires that you be able to lift in some cases over 200 lbs. in a team lift.
Install and diagnose wood, pellet and gas fireplaces and stoves.
Drive and maintain a company vehicle while at work
Valid driver’s license with clear history
Good communication skills able to communicate clearly with customers and staff
Ability to work overtime during the season
Some carpentry and mechanical skills highly preferred
THIS JOB REQUIRES CLIMBING LADDERS AND WORKING ON ROOFS.
Qualifications: Construction and or Fireplace installation experience preferred.

8-hour shift with over-time options
Monday to Friday with flex schedule to perform some installs on weekends.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
