Intern, Vehicle Testing - Summer 2023

Qualifications
•
This position requires someone passionate about a career in electric vehicles with strong attributes in project management
•
Our ideal candidate exhibits a strong drive, works well in a team, and has had prior experience with automotive / aerospace / high voltage student projects or roles with companies with similar backgrounds
•
Field(s) of study: Mechanical engineering, business management, or related field
•
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree program at an accredited university
•
Proof of enrollment in current or into next program (MS, PhD)
•
Experience with managing complicated projects
•
A basic understanding of scheduling and project management fundamentals
•
Strong presentation and reporting experience
•
Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude
•
Detail-oriented and organized mindset
•
Comfortable with initiating and taking ownership of projects
•
Experience with Agile / Scrum methods
•
Comfortable with MS Project / Excel / Powerpoint
•
Prior job experience in the automotive or relevant industry
•
Student project work such as Formula SAE, Baja, Solar Car, etc
Responsibilities
•
Help manage the vehicle testing program
•
Review and analyze schedules
•
Coordinate with teams across the company to summarize test activities and to resolve issues
•
Track vehicle configuration and usage by engineering teams
•
Support the coordination between internal engineering teams and external testing facilities
•
Relocation: One round trip flight to the assigned work location from/to permanent residence

The hourly range for internships specific to the location is $28/hr-$68/hr and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account: degree level and job specific domain
