Retail Associate

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Must have superior customer service skills with high integrity. Your personality needs to be outgoing, upbeat and enthusiastic. Be dependable outgoing, self motivated and willing to learn. Must work independently and in a team environment. A strong background in multi-tasking, problem solving, animal husbandry and computer skills is useful. Physical tasks include; register typing/scanning, standing for periods of time, reaching/bending up and down and infrequent lifting of up to 50lbs. Must pass a drug-screening test. Work time includes weekends.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Engage customers with great customer service
Assist the store manager/supervisors in completing the daily tasks/procedures
Adhere to company procedures
Adhere to company policies
Be proficient/accurate in point of sale and cashiering
Answer feed store related questions with accurate information
Answer phones timely and in a professional manner
Receive and price products with attention to detail
Restock, rotate, fix and ship store merchandise
Process delivery and special orders
Perform physical inventory counts accurately
Involve yourself in product knowledge, salesmanship and continuing education
Understand profitability
Complete project work thoroughly
Work in cooperation with other departments/employees.
Load customers if necessary
Execute daily duties including animal care
Maintain cleanliness of sales area and perform maintenance as instructed
Build professional customer and community relationships
Participate in company events
Be flexible in job description and help out where needed

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
