Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)/ Behavioral Health Paraprofessional (BHPP)
Presidential Mansioncare, LLC is a Behavioral Healthcare Residential Services Facility for adults who are experiencing SMI/GMH/SU/SA in a BHRF setting. We are looking for empathetic, diligent, and hardworking individuals to join our team as a BHT/BHPP.
Hours & Pay: $15 - 16.50 per hour; 32 - 40 hours per week available; full-time/part-time
Work locations: Goodyear & Tolleson, Arizona
What you will do (job responsibilities):
● Deliver treatment that promotes resident dignity, independence, individuality, strengths, privacy, and choice
● Perform tasks related to the instruction, supervision, and monitoring of residents
● Write reports regarding individuals’ daily activities, progress notes, and/or incidents
● Manage resident medication process, including self-administration, audit, and compliance with policies & procedures
● Accompany and transport residents to appointments (medical, educational, recreational)
● Ensure health and safety standards consistent with the resident’s Individual Treatment Plan
● Assist the Program Director in training new BHPPs and other administrative duties
What you need (minimum requirements):
● 21 years old or above
● High School Diploma or GED required
● Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
● Fingerprint clearance card or background clearance via criminal affidavit form
● Negative TB test certification
● CPR / First Aid certification
● 1 year relevant job experience

● Recognize common symptoms of mental disorder, personality disorder, or substance abuse.
● Provide the behavioral health services the agency is licensed to provide and that the staff member is authorized to provide
● Demonstrate cultural competency and diversity appreciation
● Recognize, prevent, or respond to a resident who may:
○ Be a danger to self or others
○ Behave in an aggressive or destructive manner
○ Need immediate or unscheduled behavioral health services
○ Need immediate medical services
○ Be experiencing a crisis situation
● Read and implement a resident treatment plan
● Identify types of medications commonly prescribed for mental disorders, personality disorders, substance abuse, and common side effects and reactions to medications
● Recognize, prevent, or respond to a fire, disaster, hazard, and medical emergency
● Conduct an assessment, develop a resident treatment plan, and provide counseling
