The Role of a Manager- Accounting & Finance
We are looking for an Accounting Manager who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. In this role, you will manage the daily accounting function, financial reporting, management reporting, and financial analysis.
A successful candidate should be well organized, possess a strong attention to detail, and be a self-starter. You will be responsible for owning projects from start to finish and proactively providing insights to management. This position is located at our Secaucus, NJ office, and has the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule.

Your Responsibilities as a Manager- Accounting & Finance
Accounting
Manage month end close function including finalization of Profit & Loss account and Balance Sheet.
Perform variance analysis for actual vs budget/forecast by department and investigate unusual variances.
Review complex reconciliations and analysis and ensure that all sub ledger reconcile to G/L balances.
Manage monthly and quarterly parent Company reporting using DIVA system.
Manage statutory audit and parent company internal audit process including J-SOX compliance.
Prepare quarterly income tax provision.
Review support work papers for federal income tax and state income/franchise tax returns.
Prepare IFRS consolidated financial statements and related footnotes disclosures.
Review sales & use tax and personal property tax returns.
Prepare journal entries, analysis and reconciliations of P&L and Balance Sheet accounts.
Manage CAPEX budget/forecast, track actual v/s budget/forecast CAPEX.
Prepare budget/forecast P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
Review fixed asset register in SAGE FAS, reconciliation to GL, and fixed assets roll forward.
Perform technical accounting research on applicable IFRS standards.
Manage sales and use tax audit.
Finance
Manage the monthly management reporting.
Perform month end close from ERP system to reporting tool (TM1) including accurate allocations.
Assist in creating quarterly forecasts and the annual budget.
Participate in management meetings, providing information and resources to facilitate informed decision-making.
Create Board presentations.
Requirements:
You Need to Have
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA a plus
2+ years of experience as an Accounting Manager
Sales & use and income tax experience required
Advanced knowledge of Excel required (V lookup, Pivot table, etc.)
Proficient with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Oracle preferred
Proficient with a Business Performance Management System, TM1 preferred
Understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
High degree of accuracy and organization
Strong attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills
Must have great verbal and written communication
Ability to work independently and proactively, but also as a collaborator on a team
Must be willing to take on additional responsibilities and grow with the team
