Responsibilities and Duties
This role is responsible for operating an assigned vehicle to transport passengers to and from medical appointments. And safely and effectively using navigation and communication to passengers and dispatch, and reporting to management. This role allows whether to accept or reject trips and choose hours before a day to avoid any delay for medical appointments. We and your responsibility to ensure safe rides, quality, and excellence.
Hourly pay: $15
A performance bonus up to $100 per week
The driver would be considered an independent contractor who would use the company’s vehicle, commercial insurance, and fuel card and look to drive up to 10 hours per day for professional development growth.
Requirements:
Must pass a background check and a mandatory pre‐employment drug screening.
Fingerprint clearance card (Level I).
CPR and First Aid (AED) and HIPAA Awareness and Security certification courses which can be completed online in 2 hours.
Strong driving record with 2 years minimum driving experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Time management and effective communication skills.
Excellent customer service.
Must be physically able to step up and down steps, safely secure passengers for transport, lift up to 50 lbs, and transport wheelchair patients on paved and unpaved surfaces.
Adhere to and execute all company policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience as a non-emergency medical driver or customer service experience.
