Job Responsibilities:



· Massage soft body tissues to relieve discomfort and provide treatment for injuries, wellness maintenance or medical conditions.

· Exercising sensitivity to a clients’ medical history and possible injuries while using massage to relieve tension and pain.

· Travel to client homes to provide professional massage services or meet with clients in a professional setting based on already made appointments.

· Develop customized treatment plans for each client and their individual needs.

· Refer clients to other professionals and therapists when appropriate and necessary to treat additional symptoms.

· Prepare oil blends for clients’ skin and perform other treatment techniques and therapies in addition to massage.

· Must be knowledgeable in specific massage techniques and can perform them (or have a willingness to learn), these include but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal, reflexology, and sports massage.



Job Skills & Qualifications Required:



· Hold current state massage therapy license

· Have reliable transportation with “C” class diver’s license and car insurance

· Adhere to all current regulations and laws related to massage therapy

· Ability to handle sensitive client information with confidentiality

· Ability to pass a background
