Responsibilities:
Develop and implement SEO strategies:
Conduct keyword research to identify relevant and high-volume search terms.
Optimize website content, including on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, and URLs.
Develop and execute link-building strategies to increase domain authority and organic rankings.
Monitor and analyze competitors' SEO strategies to identify opportunities and stay ahead in the search landscape.
Technical SEO optimization:
Conduct website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues that could impact search engine visibility.
Collaborate with web developers to implement recommended SEO improvements, such as website speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, and structured data markup.
Ensure proper indexing and crawling of website pages by search engine bots.
Monitor and optimize website performance in terms of load speed, site architecture, and user experience.
Content optimization:
Collaborate with the content team to create and optimize SEO-friendly content that aligns with target keywords and user intent.
Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, header tags, and other page elements to improve click-through rates in search engine results.
Develop content strategies to target long-tail keywords and answer users' search queries.
Conduct content gap analysis and make recommendations for new content creation.
Performance monitoring and reporting:
Monitor and analyze key SEO performance metrics, such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and backlink profiles.
Use SEO tools and analytics platforms to generate regular reports and provide insights on performance trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Implement tracking and measurement tools, such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console, to monitor and report on SEO performance.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends:
Stay informed about the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
Continuously expand knowledge of SEO tools, techniques, and emerging trends to drive innovation and optimization strategies.
Share insights and educate the team on SEO best practices and opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in SEO, preferably in a similar role.
In-depth understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
Proficiency in SEO tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Moz.
Familiarity with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and basic HTML/CSS is desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of SEO trends and industry developments.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications, such as Google Analytics or Google Ads certifications, are a plus.
