Heavy Equipment Operator

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Follow all Company Safety Rules

· Follow all Company Rules.

· Maintain traceability (i.e., stencils, unique joint number, and heat numbers)

· Read and reference work orders (MPS, sales order document).

· Demonstrate the ability to comprehend paperwork (bill of ladings, inventory reports, etc…).

· Ability to accurately complete move tickets.

· Demonstrate basic troubleshooting skills (related to pipe yard operations).

· Demonstrate proper use of tools (scales, dial calipers, steel stamp gun, etc.) for coupling stock yard operations.

· Accurately load and unload trucks.

· Load and unload all thread lines.

· Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner while interacting with both internal and external customers



EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:

· Understand Basic Math Skills (i.e., addition, subtraction, multiply, division, decimal)

· Strong verbal, written and analytical skills

· Knowledge and understanding of 5S

· Must be familiar with the VAM USA inventory control system.

· Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines

· Ability to understand and execute written and verbal instructions

· Must be able to pass applicable testing as required

· Must be able to read, write and speak English



EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

· High School Diploma or Equivalent
