Route Sales Delivery Driver

Job description

We are a top snack food distributor. You will need your own heavy-duty pickup truck and a 24FT enclosed trailer, and your own established entity as a 1099. Please read the entire job posting. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE. You will be driving your vehicle, store to store and servicing established accounts with our products. Early mornings are the norm. The strongest candidates will be those who have high integrity, have attention to detail, want to work hard, and understand that consistent and reliable work yields great sales (and great pay). Prior experience is ideal. A heavy duty truck or a box truck is necessary. Detailed training & established accounts. Veterans welcome.
Independent Contract Distributor

Northern Arizona area (Flagstaff and surrounding areas)

$100,000+ straight commission based on route sales

Opportunity:

Own and operate your own established small food distribution business.
Operate under contract as a 1099 - not a W-2 employee
Sell, deliver and merchandise our snack products to grocery and convenience stores we already service
Grow your business by penetrating existing accounts and acquiring new accounts

Requirements:

Must have your own truck and trailer with shelving (or have box truck) 3/4 ton truck recommended
Must carry your own insurance
Must have strong commitment to customer service
Early hours, hard work

Must be able to work without direct supervision
Must be able to lift 10-60 lbs. consistently
Clean driving record helpful
Familiarity with handheld invoicing devices a plus
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
Job Type: Full-time 1099 ContractResponsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and report any maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, quantities, and any discrepancies
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods in a professional and courteous manner

Experience:
- Previous experience as a route driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns is a plus
- Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation tools
- Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate records

Please note that this position may require heavy lifting at times, so candidates should be physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items.
