Position Description:

State Licensed Life and Health Insurance Producer

Location: Remote, in the USA

Responsibilities:
Purchase sufficient leads to achieve your individual business revenue goals for the month. Dedicate the proper time each week for contacting those leads and booking appointments.
Schedule client consultations via Zoom, phone, or in person
Conduct the presentation for the client using the slides and script provided to you. Apply your training in the persuasive sales technique called Neuro-Emotional Persuasive Questioning (NEPQ), and integrate it into our BEST system.
Make sure to properly do a needs analysis to understand clients' financial goals, family situations, and risk tolerance.
Address the client's financial situation on a deeper level during the financial fire drill
Ask lots of open-ended questions, and follow-up questions that go multiple layers deep on issues.
Provide expert guidance on suitable life and health insurance products. Write down notes about retirement accounts, bank accounts, and debt burden. Recommend a consultation when appropriate for retirement planning and debt elimination.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients as their trusted advisor.
Follow up with clients after they receive their policy to make sure they feel confident in their life insurance choices and fully understand the plan you set up for them.
Manage and grow your pipeline of potential clients. Utilize CRM tools to track leads, follow-ups, and sales progress. Use the Switchboard CRM to initiate frequent text and email campaigns.
Continually increase your product knowledge and insurance industry engagement. Stay updated on industry and company changes, new product offerings, available courses and certifications that will boost your business, and revised underwriting guidelines. Continuously enhance your skills on your own and with our team, and attend every conference and in-person boot camp that you can.
Fill out weekly spreadsheets tracking your lead flow, scheduling activity, appointment setting, production metrics, and quality of policies you write. Review this with your mentor and make adjustments.
Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards and conduct business ethically and honestly.
Maintain an active license and E&O insurance. Stay up to date on all training and documentation with all carriers that you are appointed with.
To be eligible for consideration for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

Insurance License: You must already have a valid life and health insurance license OR be willing to complete the 52-hour online course and test to obtain one before being hired.
Sales Experience: Proven success in a sales, account management, consultative customer service role, or any entrepreneurial career is highly preferred. More than 1 year of experience in sales within the insurance and financial services industry is highly recommended.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and understandably. Ability to form connections with people quickly over the phone and present yourself professionally.
Goal-oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed individual targets. Maintain a strong work ethic and motivation, even through great challenges and failure. Possess a growth mindset.
