This job requires you to be able to care for the Elderly in a compassionate and loving way. Must have the following if hired: Arizona caregiver certificate, first aid and CPR training, a current TB test, Arizona fingerprint clearance card, and your food handlers card. Even if you are a CNA, you MUST have an Arizona caregiver certificate.
Shift Duration is 3.5 days. There will also be extra pay depending on the number of residents that are in the home. During the night, you are able to sleep and only wake up as needed. There is down time during the day to study if needed.
You will be working with wonderful, funny residents as a live-in caregiver in our assisted living home. You will be required to do some cooking, cleaning, bathing and giving medication to the residents. The medication is already packaged so it is very simple. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, patient, observant, has great communication skills, problem solving skills and time management skills.
