Habilitation permits a chance to think outside of the box to help achieve the member's goals and can be very rewarding and fun! Respite Provider: Duties include providing the family/immediate caregivers a break. This may be provided in the home or community and is solely to supervise, care for, and to entertain your member to ensure the Parents/Guardians are receiving a break. Respite is a great time to be fully interactive with your client and get them engaged and interested in a preferred task such as going to the park or playing with legos. Attendant Care Provider: Duties include providing total care to members for basic daily living needs such as; transferring from bed to wheelchair, bathing, clothing, feeding, and more. Members will fully depend on their provider during scheduled shifts and enjoy the friendly presence!
